This challenging 60-day workout program is specifically designed to push you to your MAX. Literally, it’s so hard, it’s so sweaty, and it’s more insane than ever, mostly because it’s only 30 minutes. With more than 150 new moves and new sequences –even Shaun T was scared to do some of them at first — you will be tested like you’ve never been tested before. I can’t wait to see the success stories that come in with this one! Want to be one of the first to do this?

Well folks I finished PiYo on September 1st 2014. 56 days of pushing play with some Yoga and Pilates. First I want to get into why I decided to do PiYo when a lot of people who know me know I just do not enjoy these types of workouts. Well, first reason I did it, as is the reason for me to do any Beachbody workout when they release, is to say I have completed it. How can I support and endorse a program if I haven't actually done it myself?  So in short, my first motivation was to be able to better help my current and future clients.

Second reason is because I was overcoming a pretty bad back injury. In late spring I herniated my L4 & L5 disks in my lower back. I have to tell you, it was horrible and very very painful. Plus the feeling of helplessness because I could not workout at all was wreaking havoc on my ego. After feeling sorry for myself I decided to do PT for 6 weeks and follow the routines to the letter which I did. Then PiYo came along at the perfect time. It was a way to burn calories and stay in shape while recovering, working on flexibility and strengthening my core, all of which were accomplished through 56 days of PiYo.

I did not take my pictures, I did not take my measurements, I did not weigh myself. I did not have any of those goals in mind going into PiYo. I simply wanted to recover and heal. So I cannot speak from personal experience on how well it works for the aforementioned purposes, but I can certainly speak for the wonderful group of people I was along with. All of them were able to obtain or at least create a road map to their initial goals. They were a supportive, fun, crazy and inspirational bunch and I am grateful to have been along on their journeys.

Now can I recommend PiYo? Yes, putting my bias aside I truly believe this is a wonderful program for both men and women, as long as they go into this with the understanding they are not going to lose 100 lbs. They will gain the knowledge, strength and flexibility to use their core properly and with total confidence. All of those thing are a perfect foundation to build upon for whatever they decide to do next. Foundation is key to any kind of building, whether the purpose is to lose weight, build or maintain muscle. Once you have the foundation, how you proceed is all up to you and the sky is the limit.

I hope this helps someone who has been on the fence, especially you dudes out there. PiYo is for men too, just like Body Beast is for women too. I am more than happy to answer any question anyone may have about PiYo or any other program Team Beachbody has to offer. Trust in me to be your coach and you may just be surprised.
